I’m Amanda Corsi, founder of Docklands Yoga and Retreats. My journey into yoga and Pilates began over 20 years ago, driven by a deep curiosity about how movement can support not only the body, but the whole person. Over the years, this curiosity has grown into a lifelong passion for teaching practices that help people feel stronger, calmer, and more at ease in their everyday lives.

I am a senior yoga teacher with over 500 hours of training, registered with Yoga Alliance UK, and a certified STOTT Pilates instructor. I have also trained as a personal trainer, allowing me to bring a safe, intelligent, and well-rounded approach to all my classes and retreats. My teaching is continuously informed by ongoing study with internationally respected teachers and by years of hands-on experience.

For more than a decade, I have taught yoga and Pilates in corporate environments, studios, and retreats across the UK and Italy, working with people who lead busy, demanding lives. This experience has shaped the way I teach today — with sensitivity, clarity, and a strong focus on sustainability, so practices feel supportive rather than overwhelming.

At the heart of everything I offer is the intention to create spaces where people can slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and feel genuinely cared for — whether that’s in a weekly class, a corporate session, or a retreat surrounded by nature.

Docklands Yoga & Retreats was created in 2010 from a simple idea: to offer a space of calm and restoration within busy, demanding lives.

What began as a single yoga class in a local community centre has gradually grown into a wider offering that includes yoga and Pilates classes, corporate wellbeing programmes, and carefully curated retreats in the UK and Italy.

Over the years, Docklands Yoga & Retreats has worked with individuals, companies, and private clients — from city professionals and corporate teams to boutique gyms and retreat venues across Europe. At every stage, the focus has remained the same: quality teaching, personal attention, and practices that genuinely support wellbeing.

Today, Docklands Yoga & Retreats continues to offer thoughtful, small-group experiences designed to help people slow down, reconnect, and feel better in their bodies — whether in the heart of the city or immersed in nature.
